I don’t know if you are familiar with ImagePress – https://getbutterfly.com/wordpress-plugins/imagepress/ – but it’s a very interesting plugin, which has been used in the past for the CG Hubs portal, as a gallery portfolio builder.

I think that the best gallery for wordpress right now is the “Unite Gallery. it has 10 different gallery themes, and it’s best for mobile because of the unique “pinch and zoom” capabilities.
